Thursday 10th February 2010 Hip Hip Hooray, demise of the large Hip Companies

Following the liquidation of first Hipstar and then Mysalepack another of the large Hip companies is experiencing financial difficulties…………

Although it appears that pack provider Hip Hip Hooray has not yet gone into administration yesterday the administrator of its failed sister company said that its staff had been refused entry to the firms premises. Furthermore efforts to contact the firm by telephone throughout the day were unsuccessful.

Both Hip Hip Hoorah and also another "large" provider namely LMS have been removed from the list of members of AHIPP, the association of Hip providers which was established for the benefit of the larger hip businesses and charges membership fees that reflect this. Changes also appear to be afoot amongst the senior management of LMS which makes money as a middle man introducing consumers to conveyancers through Estate Agents.

Hips Centre continues to trade successfully and has been asked by customers of these failed businesses to complete unfinished Hips and also to take over their future orders. We are associated with Russell & Russell a firm established in 1887 and have a sound financial base unlike some of our competitors.
